Commitment to Integrity for Students
Through its ‘Commitment to Integrity’, the university of Wuppertal aims to reinforce shared values and principles of conduct in everyday university life. The focus is on academic integrity, respectful interaction, and a discrimination-aware and inclusive learning environment. The Commitment is designed to raise students’ awareness of these principles at an early stage and to help prevent discrimination, harassment and acts of deception. At the same time, it provides guidance on existing regulations as well as the university’s counselling and support services.
The ‘Commitment to Integrity’ was developed with the involvement of the student representatives. On 22 April 2026, the Senate of the university of Wuppertal endorsed the draft.
